Dr Zowie Bailey - Current on Maternity leave. Expected return date March 2018
Since graduating from UQ medical school in 2002 Zowie has been working full time in both hospital and General Practice, specialising in Women’s and Child health. Dr Zowie Bailey completed her specialised training with a fellowship of the RACGP in 2007. Dr Bailey is a mother of two young children with an interest area in family health, antenatal care and post natal mental health and wellbeing. Dr Bailey is very experienced in all aspects of women’s health from period problems to contraception, pregnancy, menopause and beyond.
Dr Bailey also has an interest in parenting and child sleeping education. More recently, Dr Bailey has updated her skills and is now offering Mirena IUD insertions and removals for both period problems and contraception in women who have and haven’t had pregnancies. Prior to medical school Dr Bailey completed a Bachelor of Bio Medical Science at Griffith University and spent time researching at QIMR before deciding to further her training and become a doctor.
